Exclusive Interview With CHUL0

Who are your influences in the game and in your personal life?

In my youth I liked Ja Rule, Eminem, Celine Dion and Daddy Yankee. They all demonstrated how differently an artist can entertain fans and how music can help people during different moods.

My influence in life is God and myself. I have learned that relying on others has just led me to disappointment so I cant trust that people will say what they will do. I prepare for the worst and am pleased when things are more positive than that.

If you could compare yourself to an already established artist, who would that be and why?

None. I’ll let the fans decide if I am similar to anybody.

What do you think your listeners will get out of your music?

I suspect that any listener will be entertained and be reminded about happy and sad times in their life. Many will learn about relationships with their significant other and how to deal with any difficulties or success that may happen or have happened.

What were you thinking about when your songs are developed? Explain your process.

My songs begin with purchasing a beat. I have to like the beat. I also must believe that the beat fits my image and my vocals. Then I think about a topic that fits the emotion of the beat. Then after choosing a topic, I begin to write the verses for the topic, emotion and lesson I want to describe. Then I finish with the chorus. This process takes anywhere from 2 months to 6 months. Then I record the song.

What made you want to get into the business?

If anybody thinks that he/she is good enough to do something then he/she should go do it and prove it. I am proving that I can entertain people and give anyone no regrets to listening to my music.

I think that there are enough people in the world, each one very different, that everyone can be successful. It doesn’t matter the profession or what you sell or offer. Everybody can be successful if you find the people who demand your creation. I have to find my fans among 8 billion people.

What is the most difficult thing you’ve had to endure in life?

I don’t think this question is appropriate for the public to know. But I have experienced difficult challenges.

What do you hope to do with your music?

I hope to make songs in rap, hip hop, reggae, reggaeton, pop, kizomba, and bachata. I hope to visit every city in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America that wants me to perform. I hope to meet people that may have learned something from one of my songs that helped him/her look at life differently and be more positive and happy. I hope to reach 2 billion views on a music video.

Are there any questions that you were expecting that I didn’t ask and want to answer?

I like video games, playing basketball and visiting different countries. I like to serve others and volunteer. But you didnt' ask me.

Do you have your own songs in your favourite playlist?

Of course not.
