What drew you to the music industry?
Grew up in the hip hop era so I was immediately drawn to the beats and sounds as well as the fashion.
Who are you inspired by?
Initially, RUN DMC, Ghetto boys, then onto 2PAC, Biggie and now other than myself Nipsey and others
Please explain your creative process?
If I see something in my community where I feel it needs a voice I speak on it, other times it can be a certain beat that pushes me into studio mode
What’s an average day like for you?
Grind lol, because I own a smoke shop where my studio is connected I am constantly in the studio writing, listening, recording
Is there a hidden message in any of your music?
No. I say what I mean and mean what I say
Do you collaborate with others? What is that process?
I have collab’d with other artist Solo Lucci, Willie D, basically I may send a request with a beat if they like it they respond and we work.
Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans.
I love people and given the opportunity to meet those who support me I embrace the feeling to be in the presence of those who love me.
What is your favorite part about this line of work? Your least favorite? Why?
My favorite part is recording great music and the people I get to encounter. It feels good to be real and meet real people that appreciate such. My challenge is staying ahead of drama I don’t like drama
Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?
Of course, it an awesome feeling to be in front of an audience but it can get to right before you go on, once you’re on you’re on ride the wave and have fun
Tell me about your favorite performance venues.
The most exciting when I was the opening was act for 8-Ball/MJG legends in the game. The promotion team really did an awesome job of getting the word out so it was a great crowd they loved my show, I was the highlight of that night
