What drew you to the music industry?
Firstly, my dad, he is an insane vocalist who was in bands during the 90s so I was always around musicians growing up, watching them Jam out... beers, cigs, tunes... then one day I saw Marilyn Manson and Eminem on the TV and lost my fuckin mind and joined a band.
Who are you inspired by?
Right now, Slowthai, XXXTentacion, Stormzy, Suicideboys... gotta say my mum too init... "HI MUM"
Please explain your creative process
With my band I write on the guitar first, get an idea of pace and drums... add vocals then go into a practice room with the boys and smash it out... but this is literally just my bro sending me some music and me feeling the vibe... laying down what I feel fits... I'm constantly writing poetry, everyday I will write a few pages so I've always got something to mould over it... add a shit ton of reverb then good to go... hello Spotify.
What’s an average day like for you?
Busy, I like to stay really Busy.
I like money so I work hard... I tattoo in the day, drink too much Redbull, smoke to many cigs, I've got a clothing line called Dem Bonez so I send some packages out... might jam with the boys... might record some vocals... might just smoke to much weed, Netflix n chill.
Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?
Try and enjoy the calm moments in between prolonged episodes of chaos and shit.
Do you collaborate with others? What is that process?
I haven't as of yet... but I am still making a name for myself... just throwing myself out and if someone likes and wants to and we vibe then I'm down.
Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans
I hammer social media, I try to speak to as many people as I can, reply to every comment, every message, I've literally done video calls with people in Texas and shit just cause they wanted to say Hello, it's mental, I fuckin love it... if you send me love... you're gonna get it back twice over.
What is your favorite part about this line of work? Your least favorite? Why?
Favourite I just love making music and getting shit off my chest in my lyrics. I love hearing the track when it comes together... it's that big bang moment... And when other people feel it, that's where you connect on a different level.
I love touring too... travelling around playing live shows is when the shit really comes to life.
Least Getting lost in this digital world, the internet is just a graveyard in the dark... I don't like people with thoroughly shit lyrics either... read a book mate.
Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?
Yeah my first show I did as ihatezacky I was shitting it... proper shaking. Redbull didn't help either... Not felt like that since I was 12 and got up infront of the school at a Rock Night and sang I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness... safe to say my balls hadn't dropped at that point.
Tell me about your favorite performance venues
Albert Hall in Manchester is the best place I've ever played in my life... amazing experience performing infront of hundreds of people.
What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your
Just be real, do what you want, say what you want... billions of people in the world, you're bound to impress a few of them... try to help others out and don't be a prick.
