Interview with LA Renzo

September 1, 2019

What drew you to the music industry?

Growing up listening to Starlito “All Star” being from the same city. I was able to relate to some things at a young age faster and it help mold me into the person I am today.

Who are you inspired by?

Starlito Kevin Gates & Don Trip.

Please explain your creative process

Always having a open mind an not settling with being comfortable with normal. So I try to challenge myself to be more different an think outside the box.

What’s an average day like for you?

.If I’m not at work. Written music, in the studio recording music, make some side money out an about or wit my 3 kids chilling.

Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?

Absolutely, I’m direct but at the same time I don’t put to much info out there. I leave enough for them to wonder.

Do you collaborate with others? What is that process?

I do depending on what they stand for as a person an a artist. We can go to the studio together an make a song or we can send each other the track or whatever it is we doin with the song an once we got our verse or whatever it is done send it back an go from there..

Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans?

I’m more hands on but if I can’t reach you I’ll reach out to you thru IG, FB, Twitter, Snapchat, yo phone number email however I can.

What is your favorite part about this line of work? Your least favorite? Why?

Favorite I’d say: the process of making music itself I love the hole starting with nothing at all an creating a new masterpiece once it’s finished, as far as least favorite I’d say having to wait to release music because I’m very impatient I be wanting to put it all out there at once but I’m in the process of turning that weakness into a strength here soon.

Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?

Naw not at all I be more excited than anything.

Tell me about your favorite performance venues

I haven’t done many but the 4 I did do I made the best of. It felt good seeing people know words to my songs singing it while I was performing.

What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?

Go for it. Don’t wait on nobody to give you the ok or tell you anything different. Only thing or person that’s gone stop you from being where you want to be as a artist is you.
